Another class of 2018 student-athlete has made his next-level choice.

Burke Widhelm '18, a talented lacrosse defenseman, will held to Furman after his senior season. Widhelm will join his brother Parker, a rising junior with the Paladins.

"My brother goes there so coming down, visitng him, I really got to know the school and the ins and outs of the program," said Burke, who also mentioned developing a strong relationship with the coaching staff. "[That] really helped me feel at home there and give me a sense of connection to the school."

Burke collected 30 ground balls and led StC in caused turnovers with 20. He joins Hartley Jordan '19 (Richmond) as another lacrosse player committed to college.
