France X-term visit to Mont-Valérien recognized

Staff at historic site inlcude photos, comments from their visit in blog post
Recently Upper School math teacher Rich Hudepohl led an X-Term cohort to France to tour many historical sites in the country. One of the stops was Fort Valérien, where Nazi occupiers of Paris interrogated and executed prisoners during the Second World War. Mr. Hudepohl kept a correspondence with staff at the visitor center of the site, who in turn published a blog post to their website about the students' visit.

The post, translated from French to English, reads:

"17 American students from St. Christopher's School visited/discovered Mont-Valérien as part of their academic trip to France. World War II is a story common to our two countries, and it's in that sentiment that the students made a tour of the armaments.
The teacher from this school frequently brings his classes to Mont-Valérien, spreading the memory of this place from the other side of the Atlantic."
