2025 Trio Named All-Metro
Knighton, Hurt and Jones honored.
2025 ALL-METRO BASEBALL TEAM
A trio from the Class of 2025 was honored as All-Metro recently by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Henry Knighton and Willie Hurt were named to the first team, and Wally Jones made the second team.
Knighton, a George Washington pledge, registered an 8-1 record on the mound with a 1.70 ERA. He also hit .308 for the Saints.
Hurt led StC in average, hitting .474 from his leadoff spot, with four homers and 25 runs. The Virginia Tech signee also had 16 RBI.
Jones batted .330 with a team-leading 10 doubles. He also saved three games on the mound.
