Baseball on to VISAA semis
Will face Miller for third time this season.
The varsity baseball team took down Paul VI 5-0 Tuesday, May 17 in the quarterfinals of the VISAA tournament.
Carter Schmitt and Bryce Neely both delivered two RBI each, and Chase Bayler sent a solo homer out of the park in the fifth inning for good measure.
Sterling Austin and Jacob Carnley combined on the shutout on the mound, giving up only three hits.
The Saints will face Miller School Friday, May 20 at 7 pm at Shepherd Stadium in the VISAA semifinals. The Saints played the Mavericks twice this season, winning 3-1 and 3-2.
