Simon Fitch '17 committed to George Washington nearly a year ago.

He made his commitment official on National Signing Day Wednesday, Feb. 1 inking his National Letter of Intent with the Colonials soccer outfit.

The midfielder couldn't suited up for the Saints' varsity soccer team, having starred with Richmond United on the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. He also practiced with the local pro team, the Richmond Kickers.

Fitch joins Alexander Petrie '17 (Lafayette, basketball) and Drake Wielar '17 (Davidson, swimming) as signees for the Class of 2017. More are to come shortly as admissions decisions are made. Our final signing day will take place in May.
