Sarah Mansfield

Assistant Head of School
In 2012, Sarah Mansfield joined St. Christopher’s as Assistant Head of School. She works with cross-divisional groups of administrators, faculty and staff members on curricular initiatives, professional development and all-school programming. Recently named a 2019 TED-Ed Innovative Educator, Sarah attended the TED Summit in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she also delivered a TED Talk.

Before joining St. Christopher's, Sarah served as founding director of Chesterfield County's Center for Leadership and International Relations, taught English at New Kent, Monacan and James River high schools, and created James River’s Teachers for Tomorrow Program.

Sarah earned her bachelor’s in English, her master’s in teaching, and her doctorate in educational leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.
