Basketball's four-game win streak snapped

STAB too tough on road trip.
CHARLOTTESVILLE - After trailing by 16 in the first quarter, the varsity basketball team cut the lead to four points before falling 80-67 on the road to St. Anne's-Belfield Friday night.

Alexander Petrie '17 had 22 points and gave out five assists, Nick Sherod put in 19 points, Justin Jasper '18 had a career-high 12 and Fleet Wallace '15 scored 10.

STAB shot the 3-ball very well, knocking in eight 3-pointers to help build its big lead. But StC (4-2 Prep League, 13-4) fought back several times before running out of gas.

The next varsity tilt is at Collegiate, Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 5:30 pm.
