Seahawks' first playoff team recognized at halftime Nov. 3.
Former St. Christopher's star Robert Pratt '70 and his 1983 Seattle Seahawks teammates were recognized at halftime of Seattle's 27-24 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday, November 3.
Pratt was a starter on the first playoff team in franchise history, which was the last Seattle team to win a road playoff game, until the Seahawks accomplished the feat in the 2012 season.
The '83 team also got to watch Saturday's walk-through practice, and met up with the current Seahawks players and staff.
“Thirty years. It's hard to imagine, and it goes by in a blink of an eye,” Pratt told Seahawks.com. "Truly, I have only seen a couple of my teammates – Steve Largent and Jim Zorn – in the 30 years that I’ve been gone. So to see some of my running mates on the offensive line – like Reggie (McKenzie) and Steve August and Kani Kauahi and Ron Essink – it’s a real treat. You realize how lucky we were.”
