Varsity football starts with a bang
Seven different players scored TDs in win over Flint Hill.
The varsity football team got the 2021 season off to a good start, knocking off Flint Hill 55-0 Friday, September 3.
Seven different Saints scored touchdowns, including two interception returns by Harrison Wood '22 and Nikkos Kovanes '22. Joe Sullivan '22 hit pay dirt twice on 1-yard runs. Joshua Powell '22 threw two TD passes, one to Andre Greene '22 that went for 30 yards, another to Jacob Zollar '24 for 37 yards, with Greene as an escort.
Trent Hendrick '22 had four tackles, 2 for loss, as the Huskies (0-1) were held to 43 yards of total offense.
The Saints will travel to St. Stephen's/St. Agnes (1-0) for a 3:45 pm tilt Friday, Sept. 10.
