The Science Behind "Star Wars"
Upper School boys explore physics through science fiction.
Digital arts, design, pop culture and physics collided at StC yesterday. From lightsabers to the Force, students examined the science of the "Star Wars" universe creating presentations displayed in the Upper School library.
The boys studied scientific concepts through a fun, relatable lens. The project also taught them about design and the different ways that information can be conveyed visually by studying infographics and subway maps.
Additionally, students learned how to create infographics from scratch using Adobe Photoshop, a professional digital arts software tool.
