Saints Sweep Fall Prep League!

StC's soccer, cross country and football teams achieve historic victories.
This is a historic fall season for St. Christopher's School sports. Last Tuesday, the Saints varsity soccer team defeated Collegiate 2-0 to secure the Virginia Prep League Championship. On Friday, the varsity cross country team traveled to Charlottesville, where they won the Prep League Championship Meet with eight runners finishing in the top 15. On Homecoming Saturday, the varsity football team defeated Collegiate 31-7, securing the Prep League title.

This is the first time St. Christopher's School has swept all three fall league championships. The feat has only been accomplished three times in Prep League history, most recently by Woodberry Forest School in 2000.

Some records were set during the final regular-season football game. Will Tazewell '20 caught his 97th pass, breaking the record for the most career receptions at StC. Mac Grant '22 intercepted his eighth pass of the season, which is the single-season interception record. Grant has eight interceptions this season alone, which ties him with the most any StC player has had in a single season.
