By Ivey Chaney '19
On April 17th, the St. Christopher's Varsity track team competed at Douglas Freeman. Some of the victorious Saints included Nigel Green '20, won the 400 Meter Dash, Hank Valentine '20 winning the 1600 Meter Run, with fellow Junior Neal Dhar '20 finishing in 3rd, and Jayden Smith '21, winning the 110 Meter Hurdles.

The best performer on the day may have come from Senior Elby Omohondro. Omohondro won the 300 Meter Hurdles, as well as the Boys High Jump, ahead of fellow Saints like Green, who finished 2nd, and Jayden Smith '21, who finished 5th. Omohondro also finished 1st in the Boys Long Jump ahead of fellow senior Frank Royal, a UCLA commit.

The Saints also finished 2nd in the 4x400 Meter Relays, as well as finishing 3rd in the 4x100 Meter Relays. Ian Wright '20 also finished 2nd in the Boys Pole Vault, as Johnny Whitlock '20 and William Tune '20 finished 3rd and 4th in the 800 Meter Run respectively.

Look to see the Saints dominate once again at the Penn Relays from April 26th to the 27th.
