Upper School faculty members present at National Science Teacher's Association conference

Amanda Livick, Marsha Hawkins, and Casey Torrence led a workshop titled "From Consumption to Creation: Digital Literacies and Infographic Design."
Recently Upper School facullty members Amanda Livick, Marsha Hawkins and Casey Torrence presented to science teachers from across the country at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) National Conference in St. Louis, MO.  Their workshop was titled: From Consumption to Creation: Digital Literacies and Infographic Design.  Attending teachers engaged in design practice while interpreting data. The StC team highlighted the benefits of collaboration between information, arts, and sciences. They also visited the John Burroughs School to visit their new Science, Technology, and Research building.
