Steed, Wise highlight solid day for underclassmen at Collegiate

On Wednesday, April 3rd, the Saints particpated in the track meet at Collegiate. Nash Steed '21 highlighted the Saints' strong effort on the day, coming in first in the 400 meter dash, as well as Will Wise '22 coming in first in the 3200 meter run. Although Steed was the one victorious, almost all of the team finished in the top half of the leaderboard. 

Not to mention the Saints had a phenomenal performance in the shot put finals. Hank Feiler '20 won the competition, with Teddy Bannister '21 and Carlisle Bannister '20 coming in 3rd and 5th, respectively.

Trent Hendrick '22 and Andre Greene '22 finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in the 100 meter dash, while also finishing 7th and 8th in the 200 meter dash. Coleman Wray '21 finished 4th in the 400 meter dash, while Colin Royal '21 and Oliver Fitch '22 ended up in the top 10 for the 800 meter dash. 

While the underclassmen did well, the Saints were also represented by some of their veterans, with Vaden Padgett '20 and Bridger Thurston '19 finishing 2nd and 3rd in the 1600 meter run, while Ian Wright '20 finished 2nd in the pole vault finals. The Saints also finished in second in the 4x400 meter relays and second in the 4x800 meter relay.
