Last Friday, the varsity tennis team beat Benedictine 9-0 to start off the season.

This Tuesday, the varisty tennis team hosted Collegiate for a tennis match. The Saints won 5-4, narrowly beating their rival in an early-season match.

Captain Alaister Burke '19 headlined the match, beating his opponent 10-1 and showcasing why he's #1 on the depth chart. Other winners in singles included Will Thompson '22 (10-5), and Talman Ramsey '21 (10-8).

In doubles play, Burke and Thompson won 8-0, while Ramsey and Eli Bemiss '20 won 8-6.

Tennis now improves to 2-0 on the season, a strong way to start off the year.

The Saints' next match is at home against Deep Run on Thursday, March 28 at 4:30 PM.
