Kyan Patel '23 and Dhykwon Smith '19 receive Scholastic Art & Writing Awards

Patel '23 and Smith '19 earned Gold Key Awards for their works of art.
Congratulations to Kyan Patel '23 and Dhykwon Smith '19 on being recognized as National Scholastic Arts & Writing Awards Regional Gold Key winners! Both Kyan's and Dhywkon's art was recognized as outstanding among submissions from teens throughout Virginia. 

Special recognition went to: 

Kyan Patel, St. Christopher’s, Plaza Cover Art Award for drawing and illustration 
 
Dhykwon Smith, St. Christopher’s, American Visions Award Nominee for photography
 
Allison Felton, St. Catherine’s Middle School Faculty, Blick Outstanding Regional Educator Award
 
All gold key recipients now advance to the national awards level. The ceremony will be held at Carnegie Hall in New York City in June.
