Connor Johnson '18 is already quite comfortable on his new home golf course.
The Virginia Tech signee shot a 12-under 204 to win the 66th VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship at Pete Dye River Course. The course is where Johnson will play a great deal of golf the next four years, as it is VT's home course.
Johnson shot under par all three rounds, 69, 66 and 69, to best the field. Only 10 golfers finished under par, and that included Drew Brockwell '18. The future Hokie shot a 3-under 213, good for seventh, playing on his new home course, as well.
VCU commit Clifford Foster '18 tied for 11th shooting an even par 216, capping an awesome performance by the trio.
