Will Forrest '18 wins Morehead-Cain Scholarship to UNC - Chapel Hill
Will Forrest '18 is the winner of a Morehead-Cain Scholarship at UNC - Chapel Hill. The scholarship—the first merit scholarship program founded in the United States—provides a full four-year scholarship covering tuition, books, room and board, a laptop computer, and four summer experiences known as the Morehead-Cain's Summer Enrichment Program. "In any given year only 3% of nominees are selected, and he's our first winner in 12 years."
In the clasroom, Forrest carries a 4.5 grade-point average, and has earned two perfect scores on 2 AP Exams. He serves as the head of the Peer Advisory Program, is a member of the Saints for Social Justice group, sings with the Glee Club and The Beaux Ties, and recently started a club called M.I.N.D.
