Coach O'Donnell visits General Assembly to speak about the importance of PE in schools
Recently Lower School PE teacher Jack O'Donnell visited the Virginia General Assembly's "Speak Out" Day. Coach O'Donnell spoke to students in James Madison University's and Bridgewater College's physical education programs about the importance of advocating for physical education in schools. His message was that active kids learn better, and that when students get more time for health and physical education they do better physically, emotionally and mentally.
While at the General Assembly, Coach O'Donnell caught up with alums and state delegates Manoli Loupassi '85 and Chris Peace '94, and with administrators from Virginia Commonwealth University's and James Madison University's Health and Physical Education programs.
