On Tuesday, the Saints defeated the Anna Julia Cooper Lions 8-0. The game was tightly contested throughout, with a tied game until 2:32 left in the 4th quarter.

Mac Grant '22 scored a 25-yard touchdown on a QB sweep to the left. This play was set up by a spectaular defensive stand by the saints, forcing AJC to turn the ball over on downs.

On the ensuing drive they were able to reach the red zone. However, the clock expired before they could reach the endzone.
