Patrick Chifunda started in October of 2026 as the School's first Director of Squash.

In this role, Patrick will continue his leadership of St. Christopher’s and St. Catherine’s Middle and Upper School squash program while also overseeing the new 11,000-square-foot Loupassi Racquet Center, set to open in November.

For the past 14 years, Patrick has served as the Head Squash Professional for the Country Club of Virginia. Patrick brings over 30 years of coaching experience to StC. As a player, Patrick competed professionally (world ranking #79) and won the U.S. Open Squash Championship titles in the 35+ and 45+ divisions.

He holds a degree in sports psychology and a diploma in sports science from the University of Johannesburg.
