On Friday, October 30, Varsity Soccer traveled to Woodberry Forest to battle the Tigers in a Prep-League deciding match. The game ended in a tie 1-1, good enough for WFS to claim the league crown.
The Saints lone goal came from Jack Van der Waag '29 in the 21st minute directly off a corner. A tough penalty in the box late in the match gave the Tigers the equalizer.
The Saints look to bring their high energy into the state playoffs, with their first round game on Friday, November 6 against Bishop Ireton at 4:30 pm on Massey Field.
