The varsity basketball team dispatched of Collegiate 79-70 Friday, February 13. With a 9-1 Prep League record, the Saints won the league regular-season title outright for only the third time in school history.

The program has shared the title in other years recently, 2016 and 2024.

Damari Smith '29 poured in 24 points and had three assists, and Darius Gray '26 registered 17 points and 13 rebounds. Brady Burnette '27 threw in another 12 points, Elex Churchwell had 11 points with three treys and a monster slam, and Nate Roberts put up a game-high 15 boards to go along with eight points.

The Saints have a rest and will host Woodberry Forest in the Prep League semifinals on Friday, February 20 at 6:30 pm. If StC wins, they will host the Trinity Episcopal-St. Anne's-Belfield winner February 21 at 5 pm.
