Soccer moves to 8-0

The varsity soccer team is now 8-0 after a commanding 4-0 victory over Bishop Sullivan Catholic out of Virginia Beach Monday afternoon.

The Saints now have a date with rival Collegiate Wednesday at 5 pm on the Main Soccer Field. The Cougars are playing well as well, holding a 3-1 record. The game will be broadcast on HighSchoolCube.

Against the Crusaders, the Saints were the aggressor, gaining eight corner kicks in the first half alone. Pierce Edlich '16 and Nico Correa '16 scored first-half goals, and Logan Ende '15 scored in the second half, while Noah O'Neill '16 forced in own goal for the final tally.

The Saints have been scored on in only one game, a 3-2 win over Paul VI. The defense has been impressive and not allowed their counterparts to have many dangerous attacks, crosses and corners.
