Former St. Christopher's lacrosse star Pope Hackney '97 was formally inducted into the Washington & Lee Athletic Hall of Fame this past Saturday at the football game.

W&L announced the hall of fame class in March of 2014, but the ceremony took place October 17-18.

Hackney was a four-year letterman and two-year captain for the Generals, and a three-time All-American.

Hackney scored 112 goals in his career, still ranked 8th all-time.

Also honored was Whitney Parker Kestner, a 1998 Washington & Lee grad and a former St. Catherine's star.
