Football moves to 4-0

Bemiss on target; de Venoge has another big day.
The varsity football team took control of the game from the start, knocking off Norfolk Academy 39-7 Saturday on Homecoming. It was the Saints' first home game of the season after reeling off three road wins.

StC (4-0) ran for 302 yards, 163 coming from Charlie de Venoge '16, a superb encore performance after running for 243 yards last week against STAB.

Jeb Bemiss '16 had his best passing game of the season, hitting 15 of 24 passes for 195 yards and two scores. He hit six receivers, including John Damgard '17 (5 catches, 56 yards, TD), Ned Tazewell '16 (3 for 66) and Justin Jasper '18 (3 for 31, TD).

The Saints gave up only 163 yards of total offense, including 11 tackles for loss and four sacks. Paul Thompson '17 led the way with nine tackles and a sack.

The Saints return to action Saturday at home versus Benedictine, the third straight unbeaten team StC will face.
