Mr. Gorman also met with juniors and 7th graders during the day in recognition of the 150th anniversary of the fall of Richmond. He shared the story of that event through the use of photographs taken in and of Richmond immediately after the evacuation of the city by Confederate forces. He used modern technology to enlarge those same photographs to reveal different perspectives that seem invisible in the original images.
