Saints Defeat Catholic

by Edison Pellumbi '25
Coming off a big win under the lights on Friday night, the Saints had to look to regroup on what was a day off for most students, as they welcomed Catholic to Massey Field.  The Saints came out with a 3-0 victory after early in the game, neither team could create many chances.

The Saints dominated the possession, but struggled to make that big pass or dribble in the final third to create a big chance.  Their first big look of the game came off an error by Catholic's defense, as a bad pass gave Daniel Kehoe '26 a clean look on goal, and he converted to give St. Christopher's a 1-0 lead.

The Saints doubled their lead when Steven Bishara '25 had a great dribble and provided Sutton Olesen '26 a clean chance in front of goal, and their final goal of the night came when Max Mumford '25 set up Charlie Hudson '24.

The Saints defense and midfield were dominant in the possession, as they only allowed one shot by the Crusaders all afternoon.  The Saints' next action is on Friday, October 13 when they travel to St. Anne's-Belfield for a 6 pm tilt.
