FRONT ROYAL - The varsity wrestling team finished fifth in the Elite Opener at Skyline High School, boasting 13 placers out of 17 wrestlers.

Bo Williamson '17 and Gray Hart '18 shined brightest, making it to the final pool in their weight classes.

"My message to the guys was that we had a lot of good, not much great, and not much bad from Saturday," head coach Ross Gitomer said. "It shows us where we need to work and improve."

Six of StC's top wrestlers head to Ohio for the Ironman Tournament Dec. 9-10. Most of the varsity team will be at Douglas Freeman for the Freeman Duals Friday at 5:30 pm.
