O'Neill '16, Vaeth '16 named All-Metro
O'Neill makes first team, Vaeth second.
ALL-METRO BOYS SOCCER TEAM
Noah O'Neill '16 and Ben Vaeth '16 were named to the All-Metro soccer team Friday.
O'Neill, a three-year starter at forward, earned first-team honors. He racked up 15 goals and seven assists, and was named all-Prep League and first-team all-state VISAA. Last month, O'Neill was named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Sports Backers.
Second-team selection Vaeth started for four seasons for the Saints, and put up 11 goals and 11 assists in 2015 en route to all-Prep League and second-team all-state VISAA honors. He will continue his career at Sewanee.
