TIMES-DISPATCH ALL-METRO TEAM

Jack Hodgson '16, Sean Menges '16 and Ned Tazewell '16 made the inaugural Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro lacrosse team, each being named to the first team.

Hodgson was also Prep League player of the year, first-team all-state and a US Lacrosse All-American. The future Washington & Lee General set a school record with a 77% face-off win percentage, and picked up 133 ground balls. No other Saints reached the century-mark in the category.

Menges, a Richmond commit, was one of the strongest long-stick middies coach John Burke has ever had. He racked up 83 ground balls with his speed and tenacity, and caused 38 turnovers, most in the Richmond area. Menges was an all-Prep pick and second-team all-state.

Tazewell racked up 32 goals and posted 15 assists, finishing second on the team in points. Tazewell also picked up 61 ground balls. He was also an all-Prep League choice and second-team all-state.
