StC trio competing in state amateur championship
Brockwell '18, Johnson '18 qualify for U.S. Junior Amateur.

Three St. Christopher's sophomore golfers will compete in the Virginia State Golf Association Amateur Championship that begins Tuesday, June 28 at Virginia Tech's Pete Dye River Course.
Drew Brockwell '18, Clifford Foster '18 and Connor Johnson '18 each qualified for the 103rd tournament that goes through Saturday, July 2, and includes 132 players.
After two days of one 18-hole round each, the lowest 32 scores advance to match play.
Brockwell and Johnson also recently qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur that will take place in Tennessee from July 18-23. They are two of three Class of 2018 golfers representing the Eastern Region.
