Extend the Day!

Early-Bird Hours: Get a headstart on camp with our Early-Bird hours. This program runs from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. daily. Counselors will escort campers to their camp session at 9:00 a.m. The cost of the program is $35 a week.

Hot Summer Deal! Does your camper want to play all day? 
You can register your child for an Enrichment, Athletic or Academic Camp as well as our Summer Experience Day Camp during the same week. We will reimburse you $75 for the overlap in the morning. (No discount on outside vendor camps.) Our staff will meet your child at pick up from their morning camp and escort them to Summer Experience Day Camp.

Simply register for both camps and send an email to summer@stcva.org with your child's full name, your name, and your phone number. Please put "Overlapping Camps" in the subject line.

Don't forget! You can sign up for Early-Bird Hours, 7:30 - 9:00 am and After-Hours, 4:00 - 6:00 pm, if needed.

  • Build & Design with Bloxels Session I

    Rising 4th - 5th Graders

    Become a Bloxels builder and designer while strengthening collaboration, creative thinking skills, and problem solving. Bloxels is a hands-on, brains-on, creativity and technology experience that unlocks the imagination. Campers can freestyle by building their own characters, coins, and settings or follow a template. Activities that require configuration, revision, and developing strategic plans are offered in this fun camp with Bloxels as the primary learning tool. (Bloxels will be provided for each camper.)

  • Hike, Explore and So Much More!

    Join us as we explore the nearby outdoors. Each day, we travel by bus within 20 miles of St. Christopher’s School to hike some of the “wild” places in the area. Campers will connect with nature while learning more about the outdoors and themselves. Our goal is to have a great time in the outdoors as a group and to challenge ourselves as individuals. Our trips are safe, fun, and full of adventure! (Campers will need to bring a backpack, water bottle, lunch, snack, and sunscreen to camp.)

We will play our music through the islands with help from tropical animals and pirates so come join the "cha cha" fun with us!

Having fun, learning for themselves and starting to see a progression of skill development and building a base that your child will carry for life are just some of the things they will acquire in our wonderful outdoor playground that is so close by- the James River Park System and other area parks. So put on your outdoor clothes, tie your shoes tight and prepare for some adventure and excitement

  • Wizard Camp

    An owl has a special invitation waiting to turn your muggle into a wizard.  Hogwarts School (relocated for one week to St. Christopher’s School) will be the host for all things Harry Potter.  Your young wizard will experience the thrill of being sorted into houses, making wands, creating basic potions, and playing “Quidditch.” Do you dare try a Bertie Bott’s Bean? Who knows you may even help win the House Cup!

  • Doing Something Good RVA Mission Adventure!

    Rising 5th - 8th Graders

    Join your friends on a week-long Mission Adventure and get to know our great city.  We will work with amazing organizations throughout Richmond to better our community. Each day will include an off-site mission project and reflection on your incredible experience. Possible mission opportunities include feeding, cleaning, gardening, river clean up, and relationship building. Grab your work gloves, a positive attitude, and join us for a life-changing week!  Let's Do Something Good. (A bagged lunch and an RVA Mission Adventure shirts are included with the cost of camp.)
    You can choose to add $50 to the cost of camp when you register and we will donate $10 per day to each organization on your child’s behalf. This is optional.

  • If You Give a Mouse a Cookie… and More!

    What’s better than reading great books and stirring up yummy treats? This class will explore the world of “What If” through Laura Numeroff’s books If you Give a Mouse a Cookie, If You Give Moose a Muffin, If you Give a Pig a Pancake, and If you Give a Cat a Cupcake. Students will research facts about each animal, read, sequence events, and compare and contrast elements of the story. In addition, we’ll fine tune mathematical skills as we measure and mix-up cookies, cupcakes, pancakes, and muffins. Students will use what they’ve learned to create math story problems and write their own If You Give... story. Don’t miss out on the wonderful world of “What If”!
