The varsity baseball team took a 1-0 win on opening day versus the Steward Spartans Friday, March 17. 

Henry Knighton '25 set the tone with a dominant outing, throwing 5 innings of shutout baseball with 8 strikeouts, 1 walk, and 2 hits.  Seniors Charlie Knighton and Brad Garner then combined to finish off the last two innings on the mound, nailing down a Saints win. 

The offense came from a two-run 1st inning single by William Hurt '25, as well as solo shots by Bryce Neely '25 and Garner.  The Saints next game is Saturday, March 18 at tidewater power Cape Henry Collegiate.
