The varsity basketball team moved to 3-1 with a 57-49 victory over Carmel School Wednesday, December 7.

The Wildcats got off to a hot start in the beginning of the 1st quarter, giving themselves a comfortable cushion over the Saints. Yet once senior Zach Murphy hit a 3-pointer near the end of the quarter, the Saints got rolling offensively.

Brandon Jennings '24 and Thomas Youngkin '23 took over for the Saints, as Jennings scored 17 and Youngkin 16 points. Jennings also added 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 steals.

Darius Gray '26 also broke double figures for the Saints with 13 points, and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Saints are next in action Friday night in their home opener versus Norfolk Academy at 6 pm.
