The Saints 7th Grade Football got a win versus Anna Julia Cooper Middle School 28-26 in a thrilling overtime game.

Anna Julia Cooper Middle School was the only team to beat the Saints so far this season, so it is good to see them get a revenge game win.

EJ Johnson went off yet again by scoring a total of 3 touchdowns, one being a kick return touchdown, and one touchdown and a 2-point conversion to seal the win in overtime for the Saints.

Another noticeable move was from Nash Millner, who threw a 40-yard touchdown to Connor Lacy to put the Saints in the lead before halftime.

Coach Lewis responded after the win by saying: "I was very proud of how hard our boys competed. We were definitely down on ourselves at different times throughout the game, but regained our focus and persevered. I couldn't be more happy for this group."
