The varsity soccer team has posted a 2-1-1 record in its past four matches, including a tough 1-0 loss at Benedictine Oct. 18.

How will the squad respond?

I know coach Jay Wood and the Saints are eager to get back on the pitch to host Norfolk Academy Friday, October 22 at 4 pm. The Saints knocked off Veritas 5-3 and St. Anne's-Belfield 4-1 in the recent stretch.

It also went on the road and tied a quality Cape Henry Collegiate outfit at 2.

The next few contests will set the tone for how the rest of the season will play out.
