Johnson '18 placed 5th in State Open

Connor Johnson '18 tied for 5th at the VSGA State Open on Sunday, July 18.
Johnson, who now plays for Virginia Tech, shot a 5-under 208 to tie with two others. His Hokie teammate Drew Brockwell '18 placed 10th with a 3-under 210.
The duo were two of only seven players to shoot par or better in each of the three rounds.
VCU's Clifford Foster '18 placed 39th shooting 5-over. He shot a 3-under 68 on round 2.
