Outdoor Track second at VISAA
Jayden Smith '21 named runner of the meet.

The outdoor track team finished second in the state VISAA meet at Sports Backers Stadium Saturday, May 22.
The Saints nipped Collegiate by a half-point to finish behind champ Woodberry Forest.
Jayden Smith '21 was named runner of the meet after winning the 110- and 300-meter hurdles. Smith also finished second in the triple jump.
The Saints had several standout performances aside from Smith.
Mike Hawkins '21 finished as runner-up in the pole vault, going 13-0 to equal his personal best.
Stanton Dodson '23 placed third in the 110 hurdles. Smith helped the 4x100 team of Nash Steed '21, Ryan Dugan '21 and Jacob Zollar '24 to third.
In the shot put, seniors Jahlique Carlyle, Harrison Tompkins and Colter Lanois finished 3-4-6.
