Baseball 10-runs Cape Henry
Nuckols '22 delivers a 1-hitter in the five-inning win.
Cam Nuckols '22 had everything working to lead the Saints to a 10-0, five-inning victory over Cape Henry Collegiate in the VISAA semifinals.
The Saints, seeded first, will face Benedictine Saturday, May 22 back at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights for the championship at 5 pm.
Nuckols gave up 1 hit in the win, no walks and struck out nine batters.
Griff O'Ferrall '21 started the game with a bang, sending a solo homer over the left-field fence. Carter Schmitt '22 went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI, and Curtis Hale '21 and Jacob Carnley '22 each delivered an RBI.
