On Saturday, March 20, the varsity football team lost to Benedictine 45-7. 

The Cadets took an early 17-0 lead toward the end of the first half, but the Saints found a spark, as Josh Powell '22 hit Mac Grant '22 for an 18-yard TD pass, making it 17-7 at the half. 

After intermission, the Saints would not reach the end zone for the rest of the game.

For the Cadets, Henry Dolan '21 ran for two TDs, and Jay Woolfolk '21 forced three INTs, returning two of them for touchdowns. Trent Hendrick '22 led the Saints D with 13 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Fellow LB Harrison Wood '22 racked up 12 tackles, 2 for loss, and a sack. Nikkos Kovanes '22 had 148 all-purpose yards.

The Saints are now 1-1 and look to pick up a win against Trinity Episcopal at home at 1 pm on Saturday, March 27 on Senior Day.
