Saints See the World - Student Global Photo Contest

How can we tell the stories of history through a new lens?
St. Christopher’s students in grades JK-12 are invited to submit up to two photos to be considered for the Saints See the World photo contest and exhibit, which will be held March 30 - April 30 in the Luck Leadership Center Playhouse.

To celebrate this global engagement event, an opening reception will feature Saints families sharing international dishes, music. The contest will showcase student photos that speak to the school’s 2nd Century Vision of Global Engagement and will be judged by a local photographer. Prizes will be presented for the photo from each division that best illustrates the exhibit’s theme of
Global Connections to History.

Need inspiration?  Here are some ideas, but you can probably think of more:
  • Showing effects of the building of I-95 on the Jackson Ward neighborhood
  • Demonstrating how the fall line affected colonial settlements
  • Capturing a view of rusted tanks on the Normandy beaches
  • Sharing what was and is viewed from the Slave Trail
  • Communicate a representation of your heritage’s influence on history
