The reigning Prep League and VISAA 4x800 champion lived up to its billing, posting a season-best time of 8:01.70 to finish fifth at Eastern States Track and Field Championships in New York Tuesday, Feb. 18.

The team of Johnny Whitlock '20, William Tune '20 (Richmond commit), Ian Smith '20 and Hank Valentine '20 are just a tad short of the school record of 8:00.48.
