Cross Country crushes Woodberry

On Friday afternoon, the cross country team took on Woodberry Forest in this season’s only dual meet.
Both Varsity and JV teams defeated WFS, each earning the rare perfect team score of 15 to 50. The Varsity squad was led by Ian Smith '20, who clocked in at 17:57, and Sully Beck '20 came in second, with a time of 17:58. The JV harriers were led by freshmen standouts Ford Clark '23, Macon Moring '23, and George Beck '23.
The cross country will be back in action at the Albemarle Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 12:15 pm.
