Valentine '19 All-Metro Player of the Year

Jordan '19, McCoy '20, Tazewell '20, Wallace '20 also honored.
In a historic season at St. Christopher's, Luke Valentine's consistency kept the Saints on top
Boys Lacrosse All-Metro Team

Attack Luke Valentine '19 was named All-Metro Player of the Year in lacrosse by the Richmond Times-Dispatch Monday, July 8. Valentine, an All-Prep League, All-VISAA and US Lacrosse All-American selection, led the Saints to a 19-1 record. The Sewanee commit poured in a team-high 51 goals and delivered 23 assists in 2019, and is the school's all-time leading goal scorer with 127.

Joining Valentine on the All-Metro first team were Walker Wallace '20, Cole McCoy '20 and Will Tazewell '20.

Wallace, a keeper pledged to Cornell, stop 68% of the shots he saw with 170 saves. 

Tazewell led the team in assists with 39 and added 30 goals.

McCoy was the defensive leader, grabbing 70 groundballs and forcing 48 turnovers. He recently committed to Denison.

VMI signee Hartley Jordan '19 was a second-team pick. He had 26 goals and 11 assists on the year.
