Wallace '15 named Academic All-American
One of a nation's best six Cornell players honored.

Fleet Wallace '15 was recently named to the Division I Scholar All-America team, one of a nation's best six players from Cornell to make the unit.
Wallace was All-Ivy League for the second time this season as the anchor of the Big Red defense. He caused 21 turnovers, good for 10th all-time in school history, and gathered 39 ground balls. He often covered the opposing team's top offensive threat, but was the least penalized defensive member with three total.
To be named a Scholar All-American a player must be in his senior academic year and own a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better, and must also be a candidate for All-American or the North/South team.
