2019 Lacrosse All-Prep, All-State

Five Saints are honored with postseason awards; Burke coach of the year.
VISAA ALL-STATE TEAM

The varsity lacrosse team had five players receive All-Prep and All-VISAA honors, and coach John Burke was named coach of the year at both levels.

Hartley Jordan '19, Luke Valentine '19, Cole McCoy '20, Will Tazewell '20 and Walker Wallace '20 were each named All-Prep League, the most of any other program.

Jordan, a VMI signee, McCoy, Tazewell and Cornell commit Wallace were named first-team all-state. Sewanee pledge Valentine was named to the second team.

Jordan, a middie, scored 26 goals and registered 11 assists and was strong defensively.

Valentine poured in a team-high 51 goals and dished out 23 assists. Tazewell led the team with 39 assists and added 30 goals. 

McCoy was the defensive leader, grabbing 70 groundballs and causing 48 turnovers. Wallace stopped 68% of the shots he saw and was a fantastic passer to start the offensive. He had 170 saves.
