Tennis moves to 8-0

Downs WFS and Norfolk Academy in past two matches.
The varsity tennis team moved to 8-0 recently, winning its toughest match of the season 5-4 over Norfolk Academy on the road.

The hostile environment didn't slow the Saints as they went into doubles tied at 3. Alaister Burke '20, Will Thompson '22 and Talman Ramsey '21 came up with singles wins for StC.

In doubles, Burke and Thompson won 8-6, and Ramsey and Eli Bemiss '20 won 8-4 to secure the match.

Doubles: Burke/Thompson (STC) d. Shekarriz/Vacahhani 8-6; Ramsey/Bemiss (STC) d. Steingold/Kalfus 8-4; Jordan/Akkina (NA) d. Parker/Engel 8-3.

Most recently, the Saints dropped Woodberry Forest 9-0 at home.
