Explosive offense combined with tough defense has been the key to success for this year's varsity lacrosse team. The Saints defeated Blue Ridge 12-4 with ease with the aforementioned combination, improving its record to 5-0.

Fluid ball movement proved to be a key factor in this game. Luke Valentine '19 led the team with 4 assists, followed by 3 from Will Tazwell '20. This unselfish play led to easy looks, that the Saints capitalized on.

However, the defense was the focal point against Blue Ridge. Solid defensive play from key players such as George Hodgson '20, Cole McCoy '20, and Alex Baber '21, had a crucial impact on the game. The Saints were able to shut down Blue Ridge's offense in the first half, and only allowed four goals in the second half.

This game showcased the extreme potential for this team. A dominant win against a strong opponent could preview what is yet to come.
