Every child deserves sporting fun!
Sports Equipment Drive | March 25 - April 8
Has your son outgrown his baseball glove? Did you just recently buy a brand new tennis racquet? What unused sports gear is lying around your garage?
The Upper School Missionary Society is sponsoring a community-wide drive for new and like new sports equipment to benefit underserved children at United Methodist Family Services and the Boys and Girls Club of Richmond. Please drop off donations at one of three collection sites across the three divisions between Monday, March 25 through Monday, April 8.
What kinds of items can I donate?
The Missionary Society is accepting donations of all types of sports equipment. Donations of shoes will be donated to Senior Elby Omohundro’s “Run the World” project, a nonprofit organization that collects and donates shoes to share with athletes in need.
Where can I drop my donations?
Lower School: Pepper Avenue carpool
Middle School: Fergusson Road carpool
Upper School: Kemper Athletic Center circle
Can I write a check to support the drive instead?
Absolutely. Please make checks payable to St. Christopher’s School with memo line “Sports Equipment Drive.”
